Since the start of the games WAMY South Africa has been working in various cities to engage with visitors from around the world to introduce them to Islam and its teachings. A team of volunteers who speak various international languages have been trained to show the beautiful aspects of Islam and its culture. Hundreds of thousands of publications, like booklets, leaflets and DVDs, are provided to visitors of the WAMY stalls in the FIFA entertainment festival.

People from various counties who visited the WAMY stalls have expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the hospitable welcome the WAMY team have been showing and the excellent publications that portray a peaceful and bright picture of Islam and Muslims.

The director of WAMY South Africa argues that WAMY has been working tirelessly to build a bridge between Muslims and the non-Muslim world. We promote cooperation, coexistence and understanding. This effort is part of these bigger aims.
