In its endeavour to propagate the true teachings of Islam and help African countries have access to the Holy Qu’ran, WAMY signs an agreement with Qur’an for Africa House Publishers. Dr Saleh Alwehibi, Secretary General of WAMY and Dr Hassan Mohammed Ali, Director of the Africa House Publishers, have recently met in the WAMY headquarters in Riyadh Saudi Arabia to sign a significant agreement for the printing and dissemination of the Holy Qu’ran.

The projects aims to cover 16 African countries in need of support with large copies of the Qu’ran in Warsh version of reading. For the last few years WAMY has been running the one million Qur’ans for Africa project. This initiative which was sponsored by generous donations has been welcomed in various parts of the African continent especially where there are large Muslim populations.
